A 3 year who likes to get up at dawn and 2 tween girls who like to sleep in means compromise. Matt and Charlie left early to get our timed tickets to Top of the Rock (Rockefeller Center). They also spent some time exploring Central Park, which is only a few blocks away from the hotel. The girls got ready and we met them around 9:30 for our tour. Fantastic museum and beautiful views.
After we got down to street level we decided to do an audible and do the Radio City Music Hall tour rather than the Rockefeller Center tour. We all decided that was a great call. Radio City is incredibly unique and beautiful and our tour guide was fantastic. She did a great job keeping all of us(including Charles) entertained. We then made our way to Times Square and lunch at McDonald’s.
After lunch we headed to National Geographic Ocean Odyssey- sooooo cool! Highly recommend. The technology in this place was amazing. Each room was like a Disney experience ride. We then decided to head back to the hotel- a very long walk of about 30 blocks. It was a perfect walk for Charles to take a nap. We had about an hour to decompress in the hotel before heading back to Times Square via subway to go on an interactive bus, called The Ride. Our favorite part was seeing the ballet dancers dance around Columbus Circle. Another fantastic surprise in how wonderful it was. Matt and I have been to New York many times, but this was a day of firsts for all of us. A great day!

Sounds fun! Glad you compromised for the girls sake, waking up at dawn would not be my ideal vacation 😉
